A Travellerspoint blog

its over.... really over.... for now!

snow -7 °C

Well after i left Europe i sent 2 months in Florida!! i stay with my God mother and had a great time! i spent most of my days chillin on the beach or riding a bike around both helped with my tan greatly!
i also spent a lot of time reading... since traveling ive kinda become obsessed with JD Robb books! so i read as many as i could while i was traveling and when i got to Florida thanks to the wonderful libraries i got to read a shit load of the JD Robb books! :D

while i was in florida i also hit up the Everglades, only saw one alligator but it was better then none! got to visit this small town built around a church... im pretty sure its a cult and theyre planning something evil... but that just my personal thoughts haha I also went to Disney World because going to Florida and not visiting Disney World is well shameful! I almost got to see a shuttle launch.... almost because i went there to see it i could see the ship... space ship... space shuttle.... i dont even know what to call them anyway it was there on the launch pad.... and we waited and waited and waited.... and then we waited some more until they canceled it around 1 something in the morning due to weather conditions! booo! but oh well, i sorta got to experience it!
after my time was up in Florida i was on my way to Boston! it was reunion time! i hadnt seen Kaitlyn in months!! and to add to that we were meeting up with two of our other friends, Meghan and Bruce! i was the first to arrive in Boston.. unfortunately my luggage did not arrive with me.... but i consider myself lucky as i had flown on over 20 flights in the past year and hadnt lost my luggage once until that day! but i was also lucky cause it wasnt lost, it just didnt make my flight and we would be in around the time my friends flights would be arriving. So a few hours later two of my three friends had arrived in Boston... they were gracious enough to wait for my luggage at one end of the airport while i was at the other end waiting for Kaitlyn! i didnt even recognize her when she got off the plane... dressed in her Indian clothes, and a scarf wrapped around her head! We surprised Kaitlyn, telling her that it was only Meghan meeting us and it was actually Bruce as well! We then took a bus out to our Motel! We had a great few days catching up... drinking, dancing and taking silly pictures! we even wen to a Red Sox game.... and i finally got my Harvard hoodie! yay!! now i just need a Yale hoodie! :) Boston is a great city... lots to see and do, i would say its the cleaner version of Toronto!

So ive been home for almost 5 and a half months..... and i have to say i miss traveling so much! i think about all the places ive been to and places i still want to see everyday! i have a full time job right now that has nothing to do with traveling and its pretty depressing..... im paying off my traveling debt only to save up and do it all over again!

My dream.... to work on a cruise ship so i can travel and work at the same time.... save up money while i work so i can travel more during my time off!

Since ive been home ive been mostly working however i did get to take a quick trip out to Calgary to see my bestest friend in the whole wide world who i hadnt seen in over a year!

My next BIG trip im hoping will be 6 months in Europe... but my next trip is gonna be sorta close to home.... im going to the East coast of Canada with my bestest friend! :D so until i save up for Europe i have something to look forward to!:D

Peace out,

p.s make love not war.

p.p.s nothing is better then traveling!
