We've got about two more weeks left in Brisbane the city that has become my home away from home! ive gotten used to living here for almost 2 months, im starting to feel like a local... i was asked for directions by 3 different people in a matter of 20 minutes, and i actually could tell them were to go! what what!! haha this week has been relaxing and planning for whats ahead of us. We've booked our flight to Perth our 7 day tour of WA (western Australia) and our hostels for the other 3 nights that we're there. We then on my birthday (which we have now named it my Perthday) because we'll be in Perth on that day, well at least part of the day are going to fly to Melbourne. My grandma knows a distant cousin down there and we're hoping to meet up with them, and we've got a day trip planned to see the Great Ocean Road. The next day we fly out to Auckland! we're finally moving onto our next country! as much as i have loved Australia i'm very excited to move on, and see a new country! we haven't planned out what we want to do yet, but we know we must get jobs. We are lucky that this leg of the trip we have a place to stay for free! Kaitlyn has family in Auckland and they have offered to let us stay there and we couldnt be more happy! i have to say i hate showering with flip flops on but its a must when staying in hostels and it will be nice to be staying in a clean house! The biggest thing for me in New Zealand is gonna be Sky diving! ive been wanting to do it for years and now im going to make it happen!
the rest of the week is going to be use for planning out more of our trip and just relaxing. i have to plan my trip to the Great Barrier Reef for next week, Kaitlyn leaves on Sunday to go up to Cairns to be come a certified scuba diver. we're then meeting back here in Brisbane for about 3 days do the rest of the touristy stuff we went to do including the Australian Zoo. Then we're off to WA!
Australia doesnt really do halloween....very sad. Christmas is gonna suck being away from home, you can hardly tell it's coming up down here. Back home the malls and stores have Christmas stuff all over the place it's in our face where ever you go! and Christmas without snow....
